| 350mm Diameter
At this site in Godalming, Surrey, the main contractor was constructing a three storey block of flats. We installed 40 open bored piles of 350mm diameter to depths of 6m–14m into the weak sands to provide a suitable bearing for the foundations. The site was restrictive and had neighbouring properties on three sides. Our Klemm machine was ideal as it required only a minimal piling mat, minimising concerns for the occupants of the neighbouring properties.
Works were completed within one week.
