The rig shown requires a space of approximately 14m x 14m to operate but consideration needs to be given to adjacent buildings and storage space for an agitator drum, concrete pump and materials such as pile cages.
The machine shown here is our soilmec cm 48, which was used to install 150 450mm diameter piles to depths of up to 19m through water bearing clay in a site in Neasden, north London, for a local developer
The works took two weeks to complete.
