| A typical domestic extension was being added to this property in Windsor, Berkshire. It had existing piles, having been built on an old pond.
When the new extension was planned we opted for installing more piles of a lesser load.This enabled us to use a smaller diameter pile and smaller hammer, reducing vibration disruption to the homeowner and neighbours. The rig was small enough to pass through the garden gate, again minimising inconvenience.
Piles attained a set (satisfactory resistance) at 7m into the hoggin that had been used to line the water feature. The piles were initially predrilled to 3m through the harder layers of 1-2m before driving casings into 16m. This reduced surface vibrations to neighbouring properties.
We then provided the ground beams ready for the builder to construct the superstructure.
We were appointed by the homeowner and provided a 12 year insurance-backed guarantee on our completed works.

On a large, open site in Iver, Buckinghamshire, we used our Tamrock Machine to drive 115 219mm steel cased driven piles to a depth of 6m for a national house builder. Works took three weeks
At this site in Portsmouth, Hampshire, we were appointed by the proprietor of the restaurant to design and install a piled raft to form a new extension for the kitchen. The machinery operated off of a certified scaffold to install 16 150mm diameter driven cased piles into the existing river bed at a depth of 5m.
